Why choose Stripe over other payment providers?
Stripe has strong developer tools, clear documentation and products for checkout, subscriptions, invoices and marketplaces in one account. If PayPal, GoCardless or another provider suits you better, we will say so and can integrate that instead.
Do you handle VAT and Strong Customer Authentication?
Yes. We can set up Stripe Tax to calculate VAT, and we test 3D Secure checks so UK and European cards authenticate properly. Your accountant should still confirm the tax settings for your business.
Can you move our subscriptions to Stripe from another provider?
Often, yes. Saved card details can usually be transferred securely between providers, and we plan the switch so customers are not charged twice or asked to re-enter cards where it can be avoided.
How much does a Stripe setup cost?
Our work is quoted after a short call, with a fixed price agreed before we start. Stripe's own transaction fees are paid to Stripe directly and depend on your account.
