Shopify apps merchants trust.

We design and build Shopify apps that feel part of the admin and are ready for Shopify's review. Public or custom, we handle the build, billing and launch.

  • Built for Shopify
  • Review-ready from day one
  • Clean store themes

Shopify apps that feel bolted on, slow down themes or fail review lose merchants before they get started. We build with Shopify's own components and rules, so your app looks native, runs fast and is ready for review.

Every kind of Shopify app.

From a private tool for one store to a public app for thousands, we build and ship each part properly.

Public App Store apps

Apps built for the App Store.

We build public apps that any merchant can install from the Shopify App Store. Each one follows Shopify's requirements so it is ready for review.

  • Built with Polaris components
  • Embedded in the Shopify admin
  • App review requirements covered
  • Built for Shopify standards

Custom store apps

A tool made for one store.

When your store needs something no public app does well, we build a custom app just for you. It connects to your data, workflows and other systems.

  • Private to your store
  • Admin API and webhooks
  • Links to your other systems
  • Automates manual tasks

Theme app extensions

Storefront features without editing themes.

We build app blocks and embeds that merchants add through the theme editor. Nothing is injected into theme code, so stores stay fast and uninstalls leave themes clean.

  • App blocks and app embeds
  • Added in the theme editor
  • No changes to theme code
  • Works with Online Store 2.0

App billing and plans

Plans that charge through Shopify.

We set up recurring plans, free trials and usage charges through the Shopify Billing API. Merchants pay on their usual Shopify invoice, and plan limits are enforced in the app.

  • Shopify Billing API set up
  • Free trials and plan tiers
  • Usage-based charges
  • Upgrade and downgrade flows

Listing and launch

A listing that earns installs.

We write and design your App Store listing, screenshots and demo store, then manage submission and review. AI helps us research search terms, and a person checks every word.

  • Listing copy and screenshots
  • Search term research
  • Demo store and screencast
  • Submission and review support

Feels part of the Shopify admin.

Merchants trust apps that look and behave like Shopify. We design with Polaris and App Bridge, so your app sits inside the admin with familiar layouts, buttons and messages.

Prepared for Shopify's app review.

Review rejections cost weeks. We check your app against Shopify's requirements before submission, covering installation, billing, data handling and uninstall behaviour.

Onboarding that gets merchants set up.

Installs only count if merchants finish setup. We design a short onboarding flow and follow-up emails that guide each store to its first useful result.

Work and examples.

Real projects first, then examples of how we'd approach yours.

Example projects

How we would approach it. Illustrations, not client results.

Example project · Public App Store apps

A merchant selling their internal tool to other stores

A homeware merchant built a script that tags customers by buying habits. Other store owners keep asking for it, so the merchant wants a proper public app with plans, onboarding and an App Store listing.

  • Check competing apps and define the core features
  • Rebuild the tool as an embedded app
  • Design Polaris screens and a short setup guide
See public App Store apps

Example project · Custom store apps

A wholesale brand automating trade orders and pricing

Trade customers email orders that staff retype into Shopify, then into the accounting system. Pricing tiers live in a spreadsheet, and stock often differs between the warehouse and the website.

  • Map how trade orders arrive and are priced
  • Apply trade price tiers through Shopify Functions
  • Sync orders and stock with accounting and warehouse

Example project · Theme app extensions

A reviews app replacing injected code with app blocks

The app adds review widgets by injecting code into theme files. Merchants report broken layouts after theme updates and leftover code after uninstalling, and the developer wants to meet Built for Shopify requirements.

  • Rebuild widgets as app blocks and an embed
  • Move review data into app metafields
  • Add theme editor deep links to setup

Questions, answered.

How much does a Shopify app cost?

Every app is quoted after a short call, with a fixed price agreed before we start. Ongoing updates and support are covered by a fixed monthly fee.

How long does it take to build and launch?

A focused public app usually takes a few weeks to build, plus Shopify's review time. Custom apps vary with the integrations needed, and we agree a date before we start.

Should I build a public or custom app?

Choose a public app if you want to sell it to many merchants through the Shopify App Store. Choose a custom app if it solves a problem for your store alone.

Will my app slow down the merchant's store?

We use theme app extensions, so storefront features load through Shopify's own app framework. We test on real themes and keep storefront code small.

Who owns the app and the Partner account?

You do. We build under your Shopify Partner account where possible, and you own the code, listing and billing. We hand over documentation at the end.

How do you use AI when building apps?

AI helps us write tests, draft listing copy and research search terms faster. A developer reviews every line of code, and a person checks all copy before it goes live.
