Your store, your own app.

When no public app fits how your store works, we build a custom app just for you that connects Shopify to your systems and takes repetitive tasks off your team.

  • Fits your workflow
  • Fewer manual tasks
  • Systems kept in sync

Order sync

TriggerNew order placed

EmailCustomer dispatch notice

Growing stores end up copying orders, stock and customer data between systems by hand, which is slow and error-prone. We build a custom app that moves that data automatically, with checks and alerts when something needs attention.

Made around how you work.

Each custom app starts from your actual process, then automates the parts that take your team the most time.

Admin API integration

We read and update products, orders, customers and inventory through the GraphQL Admin API, using bulk operations for large catalogues.

Webhooks and events

Your app reacts when something changes in Shopify, such as a new order, refund or stock update, and retries if another system is down.

System connections

We connect Shopify to ERPs, warehouse systems, accounting tools, CRMs and suppliers through their APIs, files or feeds.

Admin tools for staff

Simple screens inside the Shopify admin, built with Polaris, so your team runs the tool without logging in somewhere else.

Custom checkout logic

Shopify Functions for custom discounts, delivery rules and payment options, such as trade pricing or local delivery zones.

Logs and alerts

Every sync is logged, and failures send an alert by email or Slack, so problems are spotted before customers notice.

Done properly.

The details that decide whether custom store apps pays off.

Private to your store by design.

Custom apps are installed through custom distribution, so only your store, or stores in your organisation, can use them. There is no App Store listing or public review, which keeps the focus on your workflow.

Mapping the process before code.

We sit with the people who do the task today and map every step, exception and handover. AI turns our call notes into a draft process map, and we check it with your team. That map becomes the app's specification.

We map your current process, systems and the edge cases that cause errors.

  2. 02

    Specify

We agree what the app does, its screens and how data flows.

  3. 03

We build and test on a development store with realistic test data.

  4. 04

    Handover

We install on your store, train your team and document everything.

Example project

A wholesale brand automating trade orders and pricing

Trade customers email orders that staff retype into Shopify, then into the accounting system. Pricing tiers live in a spreadsheet, and stock often differs between the warehouse and the website.

What we would do

  • Map how trade orders arrive and are priced
  • Apply trade price tiers through Shopify Functions
  • Sync orders and stock with accounting and warehouse
  • Add a Polaris screen for exceptions and approvals

An illustration of how we would approach it, not a client result.

What you would get

  • A custom app for your store
  • Automatic order and stock sync
  • Trade pricing applied at checkout
  • Documentation and staff training

Questions, answered.

When should I build a custom app instead of installing one?

When public apps only half fit your process, need several workarounds or cannot connect to your other systems. A custom app does exactly what your store needs and nothing more.

Can a custom app connect to our ERP or warehouse?

Usually, yes. If your system has an API, a file export or an SFTP feed, we can connect it to Shopify. We review the documentation during scoping and confirm what is possible before we start.

Who hosts and maintains the app?

We can host it in your own cloud account so you keep full control, or manage hosting for you. Ongoing maintenance and Shopify API version updates are covered by a fixed monthly fee.

How much does a custom Shopify app cost?

Every custom app is quoted after a short call, with a fixed price agreed before we start. Timing depends on the integrations, usually a few weeks, and we agree a date before we start.

Build the tool your store needs.

Tell us what you need. Charlie will come back with a plan and a price, usually within one working day.
