HomeServicesSoftwareAPIs and integrations

Systems that share their data.

We connect the tools you already use so orders, contacts, stock and invoices move between them on their own. Where a custom API is the right answer, we build that too.

  • No double entry
  • Records kept in step
  • Errors flagged early

Order sync

When systems do not talk to each other, someone ends up retyping orders, contacts and invoices by hand. We connect them through their APIs, log every sync, and alert your team when something fails.

What we connect and build.

From a simple link between two apps to a full custom API, we choose the lightest approach that will hold up as you grow.

Custom REST APIs

Documented endpoints for your app, partners or mobile apps, with authentication, rate limits and versioning so changes do not break existing users.

Webhooks and events

Systems react as soon as something happens, such as a payment, a new lead or a dispatched order, without waiting for a nightly batch.

Two-way data sync

Contacts, products and stock stay in step across systems, with clear rules on which one holds the master copy when records differ.

No-code automations

Where it fits, we use Zapier, Make or n8n, so simple links are quicker to set up and easier for your team to change.

Legacy and file imports

Older systems without an API can still connect through scheduled CSV, SFTP or email imports that are checked and logged.

Monitoring and retries

Failed requests retry automatically, and anything that still fails is logged and sent to your team with enough detail to fix it.

Done properly.

The details that decide whether APIs and integrations pays off.

Choose the right kind of link.

A Zapier or Make workflow is often enough for low volumes and simple rules. Higher volumes, complex logic or sensitive data usually call for custom code on Node.js, and we explain the trade-off in plain terms before you decide.

Integration options

Simple links

Zapier or Make

Self-hosted

n8n

High volume

Custom Node.js

Real-time events

Webhooks

Every sync leaves a record.

Each integration logs what it sent, what came back and what changed. If an order fails to reach your accounts, you get an alert with the reason and can replay it once the issue is fixed.

Sync alert

Example

An order from this morning could not be sent to Xero because the customer's VAT number was missing. It is held safely in the queue. Add the number in Shopify and it will sync on the next run.

Checked by a person before it goes out

How it works.

Clear steps, and you approve each one before we move on.

  1. 01

    Audit

We list your systems, the data in each and who relies on it.

  2. 02

    Design

We agree which system owns each record and how conflicts are handled.

  3. 03

    Build

We build and test each connection with real sample data.

  4. 04

    Monitor

We watch the logs, handle errors and update links when APIs change.

Example project

A wholesaler keying web orders into accounts by hand

A trade supplier takes orders through a B2B portal and by email, then retypes them into its stock system and Xero. Stock levels drift, and invoices go out days after delivery.

What we would do

  • List every system and who updates it
  • Agree which system owns stock and prices
  • Connect the portal, stock system and Xero
  • Add alerts for any failed sync

An illustration of how we would approach it, not a client result.

What you would get

  • Orders flowing into Xero automatically
  • Stock levels matched across systems
  • A searchable log of every sync
  • Slack alerts when something fails

Questions, answered.

What is an API integration?

An API is the way one piece of software lets another read or send data. An integration uses it to move information such as orders or contacts between your tools, so nobody has to copy it across by hand.

Should we use Zapier or custom code?

Zapier, Make and n8n suit simple links and lower volumes, and your team can adjust them. Custom code suits higher volumes, complex rules or sensitive data. We recommend one after looking at your systems and how they will grow.

What happens when a connected tool changes its API?

Providers usually announce changes in advance. On a support plan we track those notices, update the integration and test it before the old version is switched off.

How much does an integration cost?

Each integration is quoted after a short call, with a fixed price agreed before we start. Monitoring and updates after launch can run on a fixed monthly fee.
