It is common to spend across several channels without knowing which ones bring in customers and which quietly waste budget. We check the data first, test the customer path ourselves and rank every finding by likely impact and effort.

Everything we look at.

An audit covers the whole path from first visit to repeat purchase, so nothing important is left unchecked.

Tracking and data

We check that Google Analytics 4, conversion tracking and ad pixels record the right events, so every other finding rests on accurate numbers.

Paid ads review

We review structure, targeting, creative and search terms in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager to see where spend goes and what it brings back.

Website and conversion

We walk through your site as a customer on mobile and desktop, using Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity recordings to see where people drop off.

Email and retention

We review your lists, flows and campaigns in Klaviyo or HubSpot, checking welcome, abandoned basket and post-purchase emails for gaps.

Search visibility

Google Search Console, Semrush and Ahrefs show which pages rank, which are slipping and which searches your competitors win instead of you.

Competitors and social

We compare your offer, pricing pages, ads and social presence with a handful of close competitors to see where you stand out and where you blend in.

The details that decide whether marketing audit pays off.

Every finding ranked by impact.

We score each issue on likely impact, effort and cost, so the list starts with what matters most. Quick wins sit next to bigger bets, each with a clear owner and a suggested next step.

AI sorts the data, people decide.

AI helps us pull exports from your ad accounts, analytics and reviews together and spot patterns quickly. A strategist checks every finding against the source data before it reaches your report.

Example

Paid social is driving most new visitors, yet few reach checkout on mobile. The basket page loads slowly and hides delivery costs until the last step. Flagged for review by a strategist.

Example project

An online homeware shop with rising ad costs

Ad spend has grown each quarter while sales have stayed flat. The team runs Meta and Google ads, sends a weekly email and posts on Instagram, with no clear view of which channel brings buyers.

What we would do

  • Check tracking and fix gaps before judging channels
  • Compare ad spend against attributed sales by channel
  • Watch session recordings on product and basket pages
  • Review email flows for missing automations

An illustration of how we would approach it, not a client result.

What you would get

  • A tracking fix list for your developer
  • A channel-by-channel spend review
  • Ranked quick wins and bigger bets
  • A walkthrough call with next steps

Questions, answered.

What is a marketing audit?

A marketing audit is a structured review of every channel, your website and your tracking. It shows what brings in customers, what wastes budget and what to fix first, in a ranked list you can act on.

How much does a marketing audit cost?

An audit is quoted after a short call, with a fixed price agreed before we start. The price depends mainly on how many channels and accounts we review.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, your ad accounts, your email platform and your store or CMS. We make no changes during an audit, and you can remove our access once we finish.

What happens after the audit?

You can hand the list to your own team, use other suppliers or ask us to carry out the fixes. Quick wins can usually start straight away, while bigger changes are planned into the following quarter.

Start with an honest audit.

Tell us what you need. Charlie will come back with a plan and a price, usually within one working day.
