HomeServicesEmail marketingReporting

Numbers you can act on.

Each month you get a short, plain-English report on what your email earned, how your list is changing and what we will test next.

  • Revenue by flow
  • List health tracked
  • Clear next steps

Monthly summary

Example

Flows brought in most email revenue this month, led by abandoned checkout. The new welcome series is getting more clicks than the old one. Next month we test SMS in browse abandonment.

Checked by a person before it goes out

Email platforms show endless charts, and open rates inflated by Apple Mail make it hard to know what is really working. We report on clicks, orders and revenue, compare them fairly over time and explain what we will change.

Measures we report on.

A consistent set of measures each month, so you can compare like with like and see the trend.

Flow and campaign revenue

Attributed revenue for each automation and campaign, with revenue per recipient so small and large sends compare fairly.

Clear attribution

We state the attribution window, compare email revenue with Shopify and GA4, and explain why the platforms never match exactly.

List health

Growth by source, unsubscribes, bounces, spam complaints and the share of your list still engaging.

Holdout testing

For key flows, a small holdout group gets no emails, showing the revenue the flow truly adds.

Test results

Every A/B test is written up with the question, the result and what we will do with it.

Live dashboard

A Looker Studio or Klaviyo dashboard you can check any time, with the monthly report as the clear summary.

Done properly.

The details that decide whether reporting pays off.

Measured on clicks and orders.

Apple Mail Privacy Protection preloads emails, which makes open rates look higher than they are. We focus on clicks, placed orders and revenue per recipient, and use UTM tags so GA4 shows what email visitors do on your site.

Every report ends with a plan.

Each report closes with what we will keep, change and test next month, in priority order. You can reply with questions, and we talk it through on a short call whenever it helps.

How it works.

Clear steps, and you approve each one before we move on.

  1. 01

    Connect

We link Klaviyo or Mailchimp with Shopify and GA4 and check tracking.

  2. 02

    Baseline

We record where things stand today so progress is easy to see.

  3. 03

    Report

Each month you get a short written report and a live dashboard.

  4. 04

    Review

We agree priorities with you and turn them into next month's plan.

Example project

A cosmetics brand with three conflicting revenue figures

A cosmetics brand sees one revenue figure in Klaviyo, another in Shopify and another in GA4. The founder cannot tell whether email is worth the time, or which flows to improve first.

What we would do

  • Set a clear attribution window and explain it
  • Add UTM tags to every flow and campaign
  • Run holdout tests on welcome and abandoned checkout
  • Build a monthly report around revenue per recipient

An illustration of how we would approach it, not a client result.

What you would get

  • One agreed way to measure email
  • Live Looker Studio dashboard
  • Holdout test results explained plainly
  • Monthly report with ranked priorities

Questions, answered.

Why does Klaviyo show different revenue to Shopify?

Klaviyo credits a sale to an email if the order follows within its attribution window, even if other channels played a part. Shopify and GA4 use different rules, so we show all three and explain the gaps.

Which numbers matter most?

Revenue per recipient, click rate, placed order rate and list health tell you most of what you need. We track open rates too, and treat them with caution because of Apple Mail Privacy Protection.

Can we see the data ourselves?

Yes. You keep full access to your Klaviyo or Mailchimp account, and we can add a Looker Studio dashboard that brings email, Shopify and GA4 together in one view.

Is reporting included in your email management?

Yes. Monthly reporting is part of the fixed monthly fee for ongoing email work. A one-off audit or report is quoted after a short call, with a fixed price agreed before we start.
