Long videos and podcasts hold plenty of good moments, but few people have time to find and edit them. We pull out the strongest moments, reframe them for vertical and edit each clip to suit the app.

Edits that feel native.

Each clip is edited for the app it is going to, with pacing, text and sound that suit how people watch there.

Clip finding

We go through long recordings to find moments that stand alone, with a clear opening, a point and a natural end.

Vertical reframing

Widescreen footage reframed to 9:16 with the speaker or product kept in shot, plus split-screen layouts for podcasts.

Captions and text

Accurate, on-brand captions and on-screen text, placed inside each app's safe zone so buttons and usernames do not cover them.

Pacing and sound

Tight cuts, jump cuts, B-roll and sound effects that keep clips moving, with music chosen from licensed or commercial libraries.

Covers and titles

Cover frames for Reels, titles for YouTube Shorts and opening text for TikTok, so clips look tidy on your profile grid.

Series templates

Reusable intro, caption and colour styles in Premiere Pro or CapCut, so a recurring series looks consistent every week.

Done properly.

The details that decide whether short-form edits pays off.

Different apps, different edits.

TikTok suits a raw, fast start, Reels a slightly more polished look, and YouTube Shorts can link viewers to your longer videos. We adjust text, length and finish for each app instead of posting one file everywhere.

An editor picks every clip.

AI transcribes your recordings and flags quotable lines, laughs and topic changes, which cuts the time spent scrubbing through footage. An editor then chooses the clips, sets the pacing and checks every caption by hand.

Example

Strong standalone moments in this episode include a clear answer on pricing, a funny story about a delivery mix-up and a quick tip on onboarding. Captions are drafted and ready for the editor.

Example project

A business podcast that wants clips for social

A small B2B company records a monthly video podcast with industry guests. The full episodes go on YouTube, but nothing is cut for social, so the best conversations reach very few people.

What we would do

  • Transcribe each episode and shortlist standalone moments
  • Reframe clips to vertical with split-screen speakers
  • Add branded captions and a series template
  • Link YouTube Shorts back to the full episode

An illustration of how we would approach it, not a client result.

What you would get

  • A monthly batch of vertical clips
  • Versions for LinkedIn, Reels and Shorts
  • Cover frames and suggested post captions
  • A reusable caption and intro style

Questions, answered.

What footage can you work with?

Almost anything, including phone clips, podcast recordings, webinars, Zoom calls, livestreams and old ads. Higher-quality source footage gives better results, and we will tell you if something will not crop well.

Can you edit in our brand style?

Yes. We build a simple style guide for fonts, caption looks, colours and intros, then save it as a template so every clip in a series matches.

Can you post the clips for us too?

Yes. Our social media team can schedule and post them, reply to comments and report on what lands. Or we simply deliver the files for your team to post.

How much does short-form editing cost?

Regular editing runs on a fixed monthly fee, based on how many clips you need. One-off batches are quoted after a short call, with a fixed price agreed before we start.

Send us your raw footage.

Tell us what you need. Charlie will come back with a plan and a price, usually within one working day.
